THE IMPACT
Orphaned at a young age in Malawi, Lonjezo’s future once seemed uncertain. When he was sponsored through Forgotten Children Worldwide, he began to grow both physically and spiritually. Sponsorship provided the stability and care he needed to thrive in school.
When his formal education ended, FCW’s Transition-to-Success (T2S) scholarship opened a new door. Through it, Lonjezo trained in welding and fabrication—skills that have empowered him to build a sustainable livelihood. Today, he runs his own welding shop, providing for himself and giving back to his community. Lonjezo’s journey is a powerful example of how sponsorship creates lasting impact from childhood to adulthood.Â
One person's generosity allowed him to continue his journey to self-sufficiency and meaning.
TRUSTED BY KINGDOM-MINDED BUSINESS LEADERS
"Ben and I first met Lonjezo in May 2021. It’s been a joy to know him and see his growth. Supporting T2S was an obvious next step—we trusted FCW to connect him with the right trade school and support. FCW is committed to holistic programs that empower young people—for their communities, the world, and the kingdom of God."Â
